THREE PHASE POWER PROTECTION:
On three phase systems, the model LPC-1 incorporates full line monitoring and will disengage the pumps on loss of phase, phase imbalance, phase reversal, over voltage and under voltage conditions. This insures full motor protection in the event of abnormal power situations.
LOSS OF FLOW PROTECTION:
Pump load is continually monitored. In the event that this value drops below a user selectable quantity, a loss of flow alarm is issued and the pump is taken out of service.
PRE-PROGRAMMED ALGORITHMS: The model LPC-1 is supplied with standard algorithms for pump runtime, pump hours, pump starts, power monitoring, pump fault, loss of flow (undercurrent) and float or level transmitter selection. In addition, the model LPC-1 when configured to use floats, allows the operator to select the type of float being utilized, be it normally open or normally closed. This feature allows the use of any type float to be used in any of the five float inputs. Mix or match it doesn't matter!
Two user definable analog inputs allow the Model LPC-1 to provide additional process monitoring when required. In addition, if these inputs are used in conjunction with a flow meter, the user can take advantage of the user configurable integrator function to total the flow rate over time.
For pump down applications not employing flow meters, i.e. sewage lift stations, a sophisticated routing can be employed to estimate flow rate into the chamber, pump flow rate, and total volume through the station.
